wlmaker
A Wayland compositor inspired by Window Maker, bringing its dock, clip, workspaces and NeXTSTEP-style stacking desktop to Wayland. It is an early-stage project with text property-list configuration, and combines window management with the compositor needed to run Wayland clients. wlmaker is explicitly inspired by Window Maker and carries that project’s NeXTSTEP-like desktop concepts into a Wayland compositor.
