TreeWM

An experimental X11 manager that models desktops and windows as a hierarchy, allowing desktops to contain further desktops instead of limiting users to a flat workspace list. Its command interface and configuration operate on this tree, making the project’s organisational model its defining feature. TreeWM was conceived around hierarchical desktops, where desktops can contain further desktops.
