FVWM
A modular X11 stacking window manager known for extensive control over menus, bindings, window rules and large virtual desktops. Configuration is expressed in text, and optional modules extend the core; FVWM3 is the maintained successor line to FVWM2 rather than a separate desktop shell. FVWM began as a TWM fork in 1993; FVWM3 later forked FVWM2 to allow major changes.
